China Hole is a popular backpacking campsite and swimming hole in Henry W. Coe State Park, located along Coyote Creek. It features a natural pool often 20 feet wide and 7-8 feet deep with a small sandy beach and large flat boulders for picnicking. Additional Info: Accessed via hiking trails such as China Hole Trail from Manzanita Point area. No vehicle access; primitive site with no amenities.

    Hike in only spot, about 5 miles from Coe Ranch HQ. Running streams and swimming holes year round but no toilets or any amenities. Space for about 4 tents if you get creative.
