Cement Creek Designated Camping Area
About this site
Designated camping area in the Cement Creek drainage, close to Crested Butte. 23 sites are available and camping is allowed only in designated sites. Each site has a fire ring and is marked with a unit marker. Additional Info: In 2022, dispersed camping in Cement Creek drainage (Forest Road 740) was converted to designated sites only per USFS Forest Order GMUG-2022-10 to protect resources. Approximately 26-28 first-come, first-served sites with metal fire rings and parking, some requiring high clearance 4WD beyond site CC9. Separate developed Cement Creek Campground with 13 sites and fees is located nearby on the road.
