Carmel River Camp is a wilderness trail camp at 1400 feet elevation along the 13-mile Carmel River Trail (3E03) in the Ventana Wilderness, Monterey County. Accessed by hiking from Los Padres Dam trailhead. Backcountry tent sites in forested riverbank terrain. Free established camping on government land with limited services.
