Camp Shelly
About this site
Camp Shelly is a 25-site family-friendly campground tucked away in a pine forest near the south shore of Lake Tahoe. Each campsite has a parking place, picnic table, fire pit with grill, bear-proof food locker, and a level spot to pitch a tent. Several sites can accommodate tent trailers or motor homes, while a few sites can hold vehicles or trailers up to a maximum of 24 feet in length and 10 feet in height. Amenities include a central restroom with flush toilets, hot showers, volleyball, horseshoes, ping pong, and potable water throughout. It is operated by Livermore Area Recreation and Park District on USFS land and requires reservations. Additional Info: Open early June through Labor Day. Contact: 925-373-5700.
