Camp Friedenswald is located on Shavehead Lake and includes 360 acres of forest, wetland, and prairie. The camp is open year-round and offers lodging in cabins and lodges, accommodating various group sizes. Amenities include swimming, sand beaches, canoeing/kayaking, hiking trails, nature center, campfire rings, game room, volleyball, basketball, disc golf, soccer, tennis/pickleball court, playground, and gaga ball. Winter activities include sledding, tube run, and cross-country skiing. Guided activities available for an additional fee include archery, pontoon rides, wagon rides, and guided hikes. Pets and alcohol are not permitted on the grounds. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas. Check-in is typically 6:00 pm and check-out is 2:00 pm for stays of two or more nights.
