Camp Edison is a 252-site campground built in 1963 by Southern California Edison on the western shores of Shaver Lake in a pine forest. All sites have electricity; sites 133-175 have full hookups. Amenities include flush toilets, showers, drinking water, dump station, camp store, laundry, boat ramp, picnic areas, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, and swim beach. Open year-round with Dogwood Loop (213-252) available all year; others mid-May to mid-October. Reservations required; 2-night minimum, 14-night maximum in peak season (May 15-Oct 15).
