BATTELL SHELTER (Campground) Additional Info: Battell Shelter is a three-sided Adirondack-style lean-to at 3,300 feet on the south side of Mount Abraham in the Green Mountain National Forest. It sleeps eight and is first-come, first-served. Access is via hiking trails including the Long Trail and Battell Trail, approximately two miles from the nearest trailhead parking on USFS Road 350. No privy or drinking water available.
