Burnt Timber Provincial Recreation Area is a campground in Alberta's Ghost Wilderness area, featuring 30 first-come, first-served sites including 22 trailer/tenting sites on the north side of Burnt Timber Creek and 8 walk-in tenting sites on the south side, about 100 meters from parking. Amenities include fire pits, picnic tables, pit toilets, bear-proof garbage cans, water pumps (not potable), and firewood. A creek runs through for swimming or tubing, with nearby fishing and hiking.
