Ol' MacDonalds Resort offers serviced, partially serviced, and unserviced sites, plus nine group camping areas. Three shower houses provide plenty of hot water. The family-friendly campground is on the south shore of Buffalo Lake, 30 km northwest of Stettler in central Alberta. Amenities include six playgrounds, a movie theatre, an arcade, a mini-golf course, merry-go-round, farm animals, daily train rides, bike and pedal cart rentals, Grandma’s Kitchen, free Wi-Fi, two laundry rooms, and a store selling firewood, ice, propane, and camping staples. Additional Info: 425 overnight sites with a mix of back-in, pull-through, and group sites. Newer sites offer full hookups (water, power, sewer). Sandy beach access. Security on site. Farm animals, antiques, museum, ATM, cafe, and specialty coffee shop available.
