Lake Shore Campground is one of two campgrounds in Buffalo Bill State Park, located along the reservoir with a boat launch nearby. It offers 32 campsites in three loops plus 5 dedicated walk-in tent sites (total 37 sites), all reservable. Some sites have electric and water hookups, others electric only, and some are unserviced. Amenities include vault toilets, water spigots, dump station, campground host, and firewood by donation. The park is open year-round for camping, with water systems off in winter. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing. Additional Info: Open year-round. Fees apply for overnight camping. This campsite is your typical state park run facility with bathrooms and RV and tent camping spots. There was no running water as of August 2025. The site is right on the lake and the view is beautiful.
