Boone Fork Campground
About this site
This site is not maintained but can still be used. Campers must hike in to the developed areas, and all sites are primitive. No electric hook ups, no toilets, no running water available. Additional Info: Boone Fork Campground is located in the Grandfather Ranger District of Pisgah National Forest. Vehicle parking is available at Boone Fork Pond; all camping areas are accessible by hiking only. The campground operates seasonally from March 31 through Labor Day on a walk-up, first-come, first-served basis. A self-service fee station is on site. The area is popular with backpackers and mountain bikers, with the Boone Fork Trail providing access to Hebron Falls. Elevation is approximately 1,388 feet.
