Shinleaf Campground is in Falls Lake State Recreation Area, Wake County, 17 miles north of downtown Raleigh. It offers backpack camping with access to Falls Lake Trail (Mountains-to-Sea State Trail) and drive-in group camping along the southern shoreline of Falls Lake reservoir.
