This tiny campground is a refreshing break from civilization. Located just across the meadow from Lytle Prairie, the campground offers excellent opportunities for photography, wildlife viewing and general relaxation. A short drive will bring you to the headwaters of the Wild and Scenic North Fork Crooked River, which offers opportunities for superb trout fishing. Additional Info: Tiny primitive campground in Ochoco National Forest with 1-3 sites, each featuring a picnic table and fire pit. Vault toilets available. Fresh water spring on site but not potable; bring your own drinking water. Free, first-come first-served, 14-day stay limit. Open year-round, winter access depends on snow conditions. Accessed via Forest Service Roads 42, 4215, and 150 from Prineville.
