Bessey Recreation Complex is a year-round campground in Nebraska National Forest near Halsey, with three loops offering electric and non-electric sites for tents, trailers, and RVs up to 50 feet. Adjacent to the Middle Loup River, it features seasonal showers, vault/flush toilets, drinking water, picnic tables, campfire rings, a group shelter, fishing pond, and access to hiking trails, OHV areas, and ATV trails.
