Bennett Creek Campground

Bennett Creek Campground is a remote BLM campground located at 7,200 feet elevation along the banks of the North Platte River in Carbon County, Wyoming. The campground offers 11 primitive campsites in a scenic riparian setting that attracts anglers, floaters, and wildlife enthusiasts. Each campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring with grill, sandy tent pad, and parking space. The North Platte River is known for abundant rainbow and brown trout populations. Access requires traveling 19 miles on graveled roads from Highway 230. The remote location and lack of pull-through sites make this campground best suited for tent campers and smaller RVs. Horses are not permitted. Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Additional Info: 11 campsites with vault toilet, hand pump well (currently not operational), boat ramp, day use parking, and bank fishing accessible to persons with disabilities. Typically operates June 1 through November 15 depending on winter conditions.
