Beavertail Campground has 15 single family campsites and 2 group sites along the Deschutes River about 21 miles north of Maupin. This BLM campground is first-come, first-served with potable water (one pump), vault toilets, tables, fire rings, and grates at each site. A raft/drift-boat launch is available. Pets are allowed. Additional Info: Set away from the Lower Deschutes Back Country Byway. Offers nice views of canyon cliffs and river. Some sites are waterfront.
