The Beartooth Lake Campground has 21 sites and is located near many beautiful mountain lakes. Water is available at the campground, and there is a nearby store for supplies. There is no cell service available. This site is not accessible to persons with mobility impairments. Maximum spur is 32 feet. Food storage required and there is a 16-day stay limit. Additional Info: The campground sits at 9,000 feet elevation on the shores of Beartooth Lake in Shoshone National Forest along the Beartooth Highway (US-212). It operates first-come, first-served with no reservations accepted. The campground is seasonal, typically open from late May through mid-October when the Beartooth Highway is accessible. Amenities include vault toilets, potable water, fire rings, picnic tables, and food storage lockers. Pets are not allowed. Bears are a significant safety concern in the area.
