Bear Island Lake Site 3 is one of four primitive backcountry campsites on Bear Island Lake in Superior National Forest, accessible only by water with a sand beach nearby. Features include fire rings and tent pads at sites; pack out all garbage. No potable water or restrooms available. Additional Info: There is carry down access on the east side of the lake and a boat ramp on the southwest side.
