About this site
Additional Info: Blackhoof River WMA spans 4,025.9 acres and was created around 1991 to protect a White-tailed Deer wintering site and portions of the Blackhoof River and Nemadji River corridors. It features 12.9 miles of hunter walking trails as wide as forest roads that are mowed annually, plus 5.3 miles of other maintained walking trails. A DNR access road parallels MN 23 for 2 miles at the east end.
