BEAR HEAVEN CAMPGROUND (Campground) Additional Info: A small primitive campground located approximately 14 miles northeast of Elkins, West Virginia, on Forest Road 91 near the Otter Creek Wilderness. 8 sites are nestled along rock outcroppings that offer unique landscapes. Each campsite has a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring, tent pad, and lantern holder. Vault toilet available; no dump station or running water. Pets permitted if leashed. Stream fishing and hiking nearby. Middle Point Trail #140 (3.7 miles) located west of campground. Otter Creek Wilderness offers additional trails and backcountry experiences. Open April 15 to December 1.
