Bear Creek Pass Trailhead is located in Bitterroot National Forest at an elevation of 6,500 feet near the Montana-Idaho border. This is a primitive camping area used primarily by horseback riders and packers. Facilities include a vault toilet and hitching rails. Dispersed camping is available. Please limit your stay to 14 days. Numerous trails access the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness, with the most heavily used being trail #613 leading to Bear Lakes and trail #128 to Fish Lake.
