Barnwell State Park Campground

Barnwell State Park Campground, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1937, offers 25 packed gravel campsites with individual water and electrical hookups. Sites 18-25 provide upgraded 50-amp service and full sewer hookups. Four sites accommodate RVs up to 36 feet, others up to 28 feet. Facilities include hot showers, restrooms, dump station, picnic tables, and fire rings at each site. The 307-acre park features three small lakes for fishing, 1.5-mile nature trails, and a primitive group camping area. Additional Info: Open year-round. Reservable up to 13 months in advance. Check-in 2:00 p.m., check-out 12:00 p.m. Lakes may be lowered seasonally for maintenance.
