Aylmer Pass Junction (LM8) is a backcountry campground located approximately 8 km from the Lake Minnewanka trailhead in Banff National Park. It offers 10 tent sites with views of Lake Minnewanka and is accessed via hiking trail. Reservations are required through Parks Canada. Subject to seasonal closures (typically July 10 to September 15) due to grizzly bear activity; during closures, use LM9 or LM11. Group size restrictions apply in bear country (minimum 4 people). Maximum stay is 3 nights, max group 10 people and 5 tents, 4 people and 1 tent per pad.
