This place is all about the basics, offering a few campsites that are perfect for tent camping or glamping, and it’s just a short hike from Route 40. Additional Info: Backcountry hike-in sites during a 2.5-mile trek from the AT trailhead parking on US Highway 40 in South Mountain State Park. Features drinking water, toilets, and allows pets. Free established camping on government land with limited services.
