Located close to Lake Tahoe, Truckee, and Reno, Martis has a beautiful, peaceful campground off the beaten path. Martis Creek area features hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, and catch and release trout fishing. Recreation Fishing, kayaking, canoeing, walking, bicycling, picnicing. And of course camping. The campground has 25 sites arranged in a single loop road, with mostly back-in sites and a few pull-throughs. Amenities include food lockers, grills, fire pits, and picnic tables at each site. Pit toilets with sinks and electrical outlets are available, along with water spigots throughout. Portable water is available at the entrance for filling tanks. No electric or water hookups at individual sites. Maximum vehicle length is approximately 32 feet. The campground is located 11 miles from the north shore of Lake Tahoe and 6 miles from downtown Truckee. 14-day stay limit per site.
