Alkali Creek Trailhead

Alkali Creek Trailhead is a BLM campground located in the Fort Meade Recreation Area near Sturgis, South Dakota. The campground provides primitive tent and RV camping on BLM land with well-maintained campsites featuring fire rings, picnic tables, and access to restroom facilities. Water is available from approximately May 15 to October 1 each year. Camping fees are charged from May 15 to September 30; camping is free outside this period. The campground is closed for 3 weeks during the Black Hills Motorcycle Classic. The area is popular for hiking and mountain biking trails and is close to Sturgis, Spearfish, and Rapid City.
