Backcountry campground in Golden Ears Provincial Park, located approximately 6 km from the West Canyon trailhead. Alder Flats is accessible only by hiking and features pit toilets and a scenic location near a rushing creek with metal bridge crossings. Dogs are allowed on leash. A permit is required for overnight camping and can be obtained from camping.bcparks.ca on a first-come, first-served basis (no reservation system).
