Airport Campground D
About this site
Airport Campground D is a primitive backcountry site on the White Rim Road in Canyonlands National Park's Island in the Sky district. It is one of four designated sites (A, B, C, D) in the Airport camping area, accommodating up to 15 people and 3 vehicles per site. The site offers seclusion from other sites, with packed dirt and rocky terrain suitable for tents, expansive views of canyons and buttes, but no shade or wind shelter. Access requires high-clearance 4x4 vehicle or mountain bike via the unpaved White Rim Trail. Shares a toilet with Airport C. Overnight permit required via Recreation.gov.
