Overview Woodcock Creek Lake is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Woodcock Creek Lake provides visitors with the chance to enjoy a number of outdoor recreational opportunities. There are four shelters located within Woodcock Lake Park Campground that are open for reservations. Woodcock Creek Lake also has 111 primitive campsites with no electric, water, or sewage hook-ups that are being offered for $18.00 per night. The shelters are reservable for a $35.00 fee but is also available as first-come-first-serve with no fees attached. Recreation Woodcock Creek Lake offers numerous recreational activities including several walking/hiking trails, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, walking opportunities across the 1 mile long dam crest, a disc golf course, reservable shelters/pavilions, picnic tables, 111 campsites, charcoal grills, campfire rings, a playground and fishing both in the lake (20HP limit) and also in the Outflow Recreation Area stocked stream (PA Fish and Boat Commission regulations apply). Other recreational activities managed by our partners at the project include the Crawford County Conservation District whom oversees Stainbrook Park below the dam and offers a reservable picnic shelter, a restroom, and various interpretive programs. Game Lands #435, managed by the PA Game Commission, is also present at the project and offers public hunting and wildlife viewing opportunities (PA Game Commission regulations apply). Nearby Attractions Nearby communities include Sagertown, Meadville, Cambridge Springs, Conneaut Lake, Edinboro and Erie. We are just minutes from I-79 and easy to get to.
