About this site
Yellowbottom Recreation Site is a small campground along Quartzville Creek Wild and Scenic River with single campsites for tents or small trailers, a swimming hole, one-mile hiking trail to old-growth trees, river access, and day-use picnic area. The site offers vault toilets, potable drinking water from solar system, garbage service, and was developed in 1964 on 13 acres. Not recommended for large RVs due to one-lane road and tight turns. Camping is closed indefinitely; day use remains open.
