Yellow Post #54 is a remote, primitive dispersed camping site in San Bernardino National Forest near Big Bear, California. This single campsite offers an isolated scenic location ideal for tent and car camping. The site is within a short driving distance of the Santa Ana River and Deer Creek. Other than a fire ring for campfires, this site does not contain the amenities found at developed campgrounds. There is no water, no restrooms nearby, and no trash containers. The site is first-come, first-served with no fees. Maximum 8 persons and 2 vehicles. 14-day camping limit in any 30-day period. Dogs must be on a leash not longer than six feet or otherwise under physical restrictive control. High-clearance vehicles are recommended for access via Forest Road 2N93 (Wildhorse Meadows Road). Pack it in - pack it out and Leave No Trace.
