Yellow Post #30 is a free, first-come-first-served dispersed camping site in the San Bernardino National Forest near Big Bear Lake. It features a picnic table and fire ring. The site is accessible by vehicle via forest road 2N10/Yellow Post #30 via 2N10, suitable for small trailers up to 20 feet but not larger RVs due to narrow roads and turns. Maximum 8 persons and 2 vehicles. Campfires allowed when restrictions permit with free permit. An Adventure Pass or Interagency Pass is required for parking. Additional Info: Large site with rocks for scrambling and trees suitable for hammocks. Short walk to views of Big Bear Lake and Castle Rock.
