Yellow Gap Roadside Campsites

Yellow Gap Road (FS1206) is a dispersed camping area in Pisgah National Forest, North Carolina, running between North Mills River Recreation Area and Davidson River Recreation Area. There are 14 designated roadside campsites marked with brown tent signs and campsite numbers (e.g., AC-1). Campsites are spread throughout the road and include amenities such as fire rings, grills, lantern holders, and picnic tables at select sites. The area is accessible year-round (weather permitting) and offers scenic views along the North Fork Mills River, Bradley Creek, and Yellow Gap Creek. All campsites have a 14-day stay limit. Camping is first-come, first-served and free. Camp only at designated sites marked with brown tent signs.
