Yarnell Island is a primitive boat-in campground located on Lake Koocanusa in the Kootenai National Forest, approximately 21 miles northeast of Libby, Montana and 3 miles north of Libby Dam. The site offers approximately 6-8 primitive camping units scattered across the island(s). Accessible only by boat. No potable water or restroom facilities are available.
