Yaqui Well Primitive Campground
About this site
Yaqui Well Primitive Campground is a first-come, first-served primitive camping area in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. The campground features pit toilets but has no water, fire rings, or tables. It is accessible via a sandy dirt trail approximately 1/4 mile from Yaqui Pass Road; 4x4 or AWD is advisable. No assigned camping spots are available. Nearby hiking trails include the Cactus Loop Trail and Yaqui Well Nature Trail, both with trailheads near Tamarisk Grove Campground. The campground is open seasonally from October through May.
