Woods Canyon Group Campground is located a short walking distance from Woods Canyon Lake, a scenic 52 acre lake surrounded by Ponderosa pine, Douglas fir and oak. The campground is situated in ponderosa pine, oak, aspen, and Douglas fir at 7,600 feet elevation in Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest near Forest Lakes, Arizona. It accommodates large groups up to 120 people and 30 vehicles. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided. Open annually from May 1 through mid-October. Additional Info: Group site non-electric $275 per night, includes 120 people and 30 vehicles. When not reserved by a group, individual family sites available for $25 per night. Well-behaved dogs on leash welcome. Quiet generators permitted. Near Woods Canyon Lake Store and Marina for boat rentals and supplies.
