Woodhawk Recreation Area (including Upper Woodhawk and Lower Woodhawk) consists of developed and primitive boat camps along the Missouri River in the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument, managed by BLM. Developed sites like Lower Woodhawk offer vault toilets, metal fire rings, and open-air shelters, accessible only by boat. Primitive sites like Upper Woodhawk have metal fire rings and occasionally fence exclosures. No potable water or vehicle access available.
