Wonder Lake Campground is a tent-only campground located at mile 85 in Denali National Park and Preserve, offering stunning views of Denali (Mount McKinley) on clear days and an immersive wilderness experience. It features spacious sites with picnic tables, food storage lockers, flush toilets, and potable drinking water. Campfire rings are available, and ranger programs are offered nightly. The area is ideal for hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing, though mosquitoes can be intense. Reservations are required and sites fill quickly. Open typically late May to mid-September. Additional Info: No showers, no RV hookups or dump station. Pets allowed. Accessible only by park shuttle bus.
