Backcountry campsites accessible via the 2.4-mile (3.9-km) Wolf Lake Trail from the trailhead on Grand Loop Road in Yellowstone National Park. The trail passes through forests and swampy meadows, offering views of Little Gibbon Falls. Primitive campsites are located near the southern tip of Wolf Lake in a patch of trees, with additional sites along the trail toward Grebe Lake. Grizzly bears frequent the area; follow backcountry regulations including bear-resistant food storage and camping 100 yards from cooking areas. Campfires allowed only in designated rings. Additional Info: Trailhead parking on south side of Grand Loop Road, 3.8 miles east of Norris Junction. No vehicle access to campsites.
