Wolf Flats Recreation Area

Wolf Flats Recreation Area is a free, dispersed BLM camping area with 25 designated sites located on the South Fork of the Snake River, 40 minutes east of Idaho Falls. The area features riverside spots with steep banks and back areas, mostly flat terrain with some midsized to larger RV sites. Amenities include fire rings and portable/drop toilets. Boat access to the South Fork of the Snake River is available. No fees, no garbage collection. Pack in/pack out required. Only dead and downed wood permitted for fires; do not cut trees or burn metals, glass, or plastic. Some large areas can accommodate groups of 50 people.
