Winiger Ridge is a free, first-come, first-served camping area located along National Forest System Road 359 on the western shores of Gross Reservoir in the Roosevelt National Forest near Boulder, Colorado. The site features designated campsites with picnic tables and campfire spots. High-clearance vehicles are recommended due to rough access roads. No restrooms, drinking water, or hookups are available. Camping is limited to 14 days in one location, with a maximum stay of 28 days within a 60-day period. The nearby Forsythe Canyon Trailhead provides access to hiking trails, and Gross Reservoir offers water recreation opportunities. Pets are allowed, and Leave No Trace principles are required.
