Wingate Campground

Wingate Campground is located at Dead Horse Point State Park near Moab, Utah, on top of a mesa with spectacular views of mountains and canyons. The campground has 31 campsites total: 20 RV sites with 20/30/50 amp electrical hookups (no water or sewer hookups), 11 hike-in tent-only sites, 3 walk-to sites (47-49), and 6 yurts with shared restroom and water access. Each campsite includes a picnic table, shade shelter, fire pit, and grate. Amenities include flush toilets, drinking water, RV dump station, and a visitor center where firewood is available for purchase. Maximum RV length is 56 feet. Water is trucked up the mountain, so RV campers must arrive with full tanks. No showers or WiFi available. Check-in is 3:00 PM, check-out is 12:00 PM. Maximum 8 people per site. Pets are allowed. The campground is known for cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, and excellent stargazing. It provides convenient access to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.
