Windmill State Recreation Area - Basic Campsites
About this site
Windmill State Recreation Area offers 20 non-pad Basic campsites without electricity, in addition to 69 camping pads with electrical hookups. These first-come, first-served sites are part of a 154-acre park with six lakes for fishing, a swimming beach, nature trails, and antique windmills. Amenities include drinking water, modern restrooms, shower houses, dump station, and laundry. Additional Info: Half the campsites are reservable April 15-Oct 15; others first-come, first-served year-round. Self-register fees via Iron Ranger off-season.
