Wilson Lake Rustic Campground

Wilson Lake Rustic Campground is on the shore of the lake and has a drive down boat ramp with a dock. Nearby Little Wilson Lake also has a boat ramp, and there is a portage trail from Wilson to Sister Lake. Wilson Lake Rustic Campground offers 4 sites accessible by car. On the shore of the lake is an additional backcountry campsite accessible by boat, and there is another backcountry site on Little Wilson. There is no garbage pick up at Wilson Lake Rustic Campground. Plan to pack out all your garbage, including fish remains from cleaning fish. Additional Info: The campground is open year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with no fees. As of October 1, 2025, the campground operates with no services and forest roads are not plowed during winter. Camping is limited to 14 consecutive nights per 30-day period. Wilson Lake contains northern pike, walleye, and yellow perch. Three of the four drive-in sites are over 21 feet long.
