Willow Creek Campground
About this site
Willow Creek Environmental Campground has 11 walk/hike-in (tent only) campsites located along the Russian River in Sonoma Coast State Park. All campsites are first-come, first-serve and generally open from mid-March to mid-October. Campsites are spread out with nice privacy, some more open and others tucked under willow trees. Each site has a table, food storage cabinet, fire ring and grill. Amenities include vault toilets. There is no potable/drinking water. Pets/dogs are not allowed. The hike from the parking area to the campsites ranges from about 1/4 mile (#1) to a mile (#11). You must pack all your gear and trash in and out. Additional Info: Cell service is fair. Activities include hiking, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, biking, mountain biking, bird watching, wildlife viewing, nature trails, photography, picnicking, stargazing, and swimming.
