Williamson Provincial Campground is located on the southern shore of Sturgeon Lake, 19 km west of Valleyview on Highway 43 in Alberta. The campground features 67 sites with multiple options including pull-through, unserviced, and powered sites nestled in trees. Amenities include electrical hookups (31 sites), tap water, fire pits, picnic tables, showers, toilet blocks, a dump station, RV dump station, playground, boat launch, fish cleaning station, and a day-use picnic area. The beach offers swimming and water activities including sailing, windsurfing, fishing, and canoeing. The campground is pet-friendly and open seasonally from May through September. Reservations are recommended during peak season, though some sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
