Mitchell State Park Campground is located in William Mitchell State Park, a 660-acre park situated between Lake Mitchell and Lake Cadillac in Cadillac, Michigan. The modern campground offers 221 sites, all with electrical hookups, picnic tables, and fire pits. It is pet-friendly and open year-round. Amenities include showers, restrooms, sanitation stations, potable water, and two dump stations. The sites are near sandy beaches, swimming areas, fishing piers, boat launches on both lakes, picnic shelters, hiking trails, and the Carl T. Johnson Hunting and Fishing Center. Reservations are required and can be made up to six months in advance via MiDNRReservations.com or 800-447-2757. Additional Info: Sanitation stations have potable water and two lanes. An accessible Loon camper cabin is available with electricity, electric heat, mini fridge, microwave, and sleeps up to six.
