Wilkinson Pioneer Park
About this site
A beautiful 80-acre park with complete camping facilities. A covered bridge and rare native prairie remnants are found in the park. A great place to have a picnic or start a canoe float. Donated by Mr. & Mrs. Rufus Wilkinson in 1960. Located at the end of blacktop B-20 in Rock Falls, along the Shellrock River. Additional Info: The modern campground offers 42 electrical sites with 30-amp service. Showerhouse, firewood, dump station, and water fill are available. Campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis with no advance reservations. The park is now cashless and all campsites must be booked/reserved on mycountyparks.com. Amenities include hiking, biking, horseback riding trails, 1.25 miles of river frontage for fishing, canoe/kayak launch, and a 1-acre pond. The Shellrock River Greenbelt Trail trailhead is located nearby.
