About this site

Campsites are walk up. Carts provided to walk gear over. Campsites were well taken care of and fairly visually secluded from other campsites. Definitely can still hear people but could only see them if you tried to. Bathrooms were decent, unsure if they are heated or not.

we went in mid July and the mosquitoes were pretty bad. But the weather was nice enough to take the rain cover off and see the stars. We saw a story teller, Terry Visger, that speaks at the amphitheater on certain nights and they were fantastic. If you're going make sure to rent a tube or kayak and float down the Kickapoo river. You won't want to miss that
