Whitefish Lake State Park
About this site
Located on the outskirts of Whitefish, this small 10-acre park at 3,012 feet elevation provides a mature forest and a pleasant campground and beach. The park has 25 campsites offering a mix of tent-only, hiker/biker, and RV camping opportunities under Douglas fir, western larch, and ponderosa pine. RV/trailer size limit is 40 feet. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, grills, flush toilets, showers, drinking water, trash cans, boat ramp, firewood for purchase, and a public phone. A hiker/biker site is available for visitors arriving on foot or bicycle. Boating, swimming, and fishing are popular activities. Train tracks border the park with freight trains passing throughout the day and night. Services available May 1 - September 30.
